Police in Scotland are asking the public to help them find a missing 16-year-old girl who may be travelling through Cumbria.
Simone Fisher, 16 was last seen in Biggar, South Lanarkshire on Wednesday morning.
With connections in Barrow, police believe she may have travelled or will travel through Cumbria.
A spokesman for the Lanarkshire Police Division said: "Simone Fisher was last seen around 10.30 am in Devonshire Road, Carmichael, Biggar, on Wednesday, June 17, and may have gotten into a black car that headed off in the direction of Lanark.
"She is described as white, 5ft 7ins, slim build with long black hair. She sometimes wears glasses. When last seen she was wearing grey leggings, a pink top and white trainers.
"Simone has connections in Motherwell and in Barrow, Cumbria, and it is possible she is making her way towards either destination by car, train or bus.
"Anyone who might have seen Simone, or knows where she is should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 1139 of Wednesday, June 17, 2020.
"We would also ask Simone to contact us to let us know she is safe."
