NATIONAL hero Captain Tom Moore is celebrating his 100th birthday today and our readers have shared their birthday messages.
Captain Tom captured the hearts of the UK and has so far raised £29,437,794 on his JustGiving page after pledging to walk 100 laps in his garden for the NHS in the lead-up to his 100th birthday.
He has also become the oldest person in history to top the UK singles chart after releasing ‘You’’ll Never Walk Alone’ alongside Michael Ball and the Voices of Care Choir.
