A LAKES farmer has said 'all hell will break loose' if he's offered a dairy-free alternative to milk in Ulverston Costa.
Ian Dickinson made the comment on Twitter on a story about Starbucks urging customers to choose almond or soy in a bid to reduce their carbon footprint.
The chain's boss Kevin Johnson said the alternatives were better for the environment.
Mr Dickinson said: "Our vet went into Costa in Ulverston this week and was asked if he wanted a dairy-free alternative.
"I'm going to go into a few Costas next weekend and if they try offering me the same all hell will break loose."
