KIDS go free at two Lake District attractions this Easter.
From today until Monday April 22, children between ages five-15, which are accompanied by their teddy, travel free as part of Ullswater ‘Steamers, and Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway 's Teddies Go Free event.
The event, which is in its sixth year, is an opportunity for parents to introduce their children to the splendour of spring with a ride on a steamer over Ullswater, or a ride on the steam train La’al Ratty.
Lisa Braithwaite, at Lake District Estates, said: “It’s a fun day out and especially nice to treat their ‘Ted’ to a trip on a boat or train.
“It is a great way to encourage the kids to get outside and enjoy the landscape we have on offer in the Lake District.”
Children must also be accompanied by a paying adult.
