THE MET Office still has an ice warning out for Cumbria this morning and has advised residents to take their time when travelling.
They currently have a yellow warning of ice in place with potential icy stretches remaining through the morning.
They have reminded residents to take caution when travelling on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
They have also reminded residents that the increased risk of ice can lead to an increase in accidents and/or injuries from falls, therefore to plan ahead for potentially slower journeys.
