RUMOURS that TV star Scotty T has pulled out of a national pantomime – which has a date in Ulverston – have been dismissed as false.
Several national media outlets claimed that the Geordie Shore heartthrob had quit his role in Jack and his Giant Beanstalk due to illness and poor sales.
However, producer Joe Purdy confirmed that Scotty T, real name Scott Timlin, will be fulfilling his role in the panto.
In a Facebook post, Mr Purdy said: "Massive thanks to all the national newspapers and tabloids today for announcing on my behalf that Scotty T has withdrawn from my adult pantomime, Jack and his Giant Beanstalk.
"Oh wait, sorry, get your facts totally right first next time.
"Don't believe everything you read."
Jack and his Giant Beanstalk will be at the Coronation Hall on January 28.
The show will start at 7:30pm and tickets cost £16.
