CASPER is a big bruiser of a tabby who at the moment is on that most dreaded of things - "a diet".
He is not exactly fat but he could do with losing a few pounds, especially as this lovely boy is a house cat and needs to be indoors as he is used to it and enjoys it the most.
Casper is a loving and affectionate animal who is currently living in the Barrow Animal Welfare shelter in Rawlinson Street.
Casper is very undemanding and has been neutered and is aged around eight years old, but looks and acts like a much younger animal because of his good health.
He does love his food and although active is pretty relaxed and laid back about everything.
Casper came into care through no fault of his own and his carers say he is a real pleasure to look after.
He is good with children and other cats but has never been around dogs. He will also "talk" as a way of expressing himself.
Sox is a most beautiful looking black and white cat with four perfect pure white paws.
He is an absolute sweetheart of a moggy who loves nosing around his surroundings and being patted.
He is only about four to five years old and would make a wonderful family pet as he loves to play and be made a fuss of.
Sox is gentle and full of energy but happy with his own company as well as receiving attention from his people.
Like Casper, Sox has been neutured and micro-chipped and is ready to go to a permanent home.
Brothers Flash and Dash are two six-month-old kitten/cats who need to be rehomed together as they are very close.
These two tabby and whites have really nice natures, are good with children and other cats, but would be best in a home where they are given a chance to explore and gain their confidence because of their youth.
In the shelter they are confident and happy in their surroundings, but do need a permanent loving home.
Pebbles is a young tortie and white youngster who is not yet two years old.
She is full of energy and fun and would be best as the only pet in the house, but is good with children.
This pretty girl really deserves to be in her own permanent home and get the love and attention she craves.
She is also spayed and micro-chipped.
