THE M6 has reopened in Cumbria in both directions following an earlier crash.
The collision affected traffic travelling northbound and southbound between junctions 42 and 43, near Carlisle. Two mile long queues had been reported in the area.
Police have now confirmed the motorway is fully reopen and have thanked motorists for their patience.
