Part of the M6 in Cumbria is blocked following a lorry fire.
The emergency services were called about 4.30am this morning to deal with the incident.
They found a lorry in the hard shoulder with a wheel blown out and on fire, a police spokesman said.
The lorry was between junction 39 (Shap) and 40 (Penrith).
There was a rolling road block immediately after the incident so firefighters could put the blaze out.
This morning, one lane remains closed northbound around junction 39.
Traffic is said to be coping well.
* All lanes reopened by 10am.
