Aged 79 of Barrow passed away suddenly but peacefully at Furness General Hospital on the 16th October with her loving family by her side. Loving wife and best friend of David, a much-loved mam to Lesley and the late Dawn and Elaine, an amazing nana to Laura, Matthew and Michael, a precious great nana and provider of the world’s best hugs, mother-in-law to John, a special sister, Auntie, and a dear friend to many. A service to celebrate Joan’s life will be held at Thorncliffe Crematorium, Barrow on Tuesday 29th October at 11:30am. Family flowers only and donations if so desired for Ward 6, FGH Bay Hospitals Charity may be left at the service or via the Little and Caine website.
