BARNES (nee CURRIE) Joan Sylvia 94 years, of Barrow in Furness passed away peacefully at home on the 20th May 2024. A devoted wife to the late Harry, the loving mum of Pauline, a dear sister to the late Joyce and Archie, a treasured aunty and good friend to many. A celebration of her life will be held at St James The Great, Barrow in Furness, on Wednesday 12th June 24 at 12pm followed by the committal at Thorncliffe Crematorium at 1pm. It is requested family flowers only, but donations to Diabetes UK are welcome and can be donated directly, at the service or via the Little and Caine obituary page.
