WOOD Robert William 'Bob' Aged 86 of Walney passed away peacefully at Furness General Hospital after a long illness patiently borne with great courage on the 28th April with his loving family by his side. Dearly loved husband of Barbara, a treasured dad to Carolyn and Bob, a much loved and devoted grandad to Lukas, Beth, Liam and Robert, father-in-law to Graham and Jo, brother to Jill, and a dear friend to many. A service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at St Mary's Church, Walney on Thursday 9th May at 11:30am. The family would prefer black not to be worn. Family flowers only and donations if so desired for Cancer Research UK and MND Association may be left at the service or via the Little and Caine website.
