HARGREAVES John William 90 years, born in Gleaston but of Dalton-in-Furness, passed away peacefully in the loving care of Furness General Hospital staff on ward 6 on the 28th March 24. A loving husband to Catherine, a beloved father to Angela and much respected father-in-law of Tony, a much-loved grandad to Charlie and Alex and a dearly loved brother to Thomas and the late, Nora, Winnifred and Margaret. Those who knew John are invited to attend a service to celebrate his life at Thorncliffe Crematorium, Barrow on Thursday 11th April at 10:45 a.m. It is requested family flowers only, but donations to The Cumbria Wildlife Trust are welcome and can be donated directly, at the service or via Little and Caine obituary page.
