YATES Derek John Aged 79 of Yarlside, Barrow passed away peacefully after a long illness bore with great courage on the 28th October with his loving family by his side. Loved husband of Frances of 57 years, a devoted dad to Anthony and Susan, a loving grandad, and a dear friend to many. Family and friends please meet for a service at St Mary's Church, Duke Street, Barrow on Wednesday 8th November at 10:30am. Family flowers only and donations if so desired for Langdale/Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team may be left at the service or via the Little and Caine website.
