BURDEN Veronica (Vera) (nee Fogharty) Aged 95 years. It is with great sadness that Paul, Bernadette, Anthony and Cecilia announce the peaceful passing on Thursday 26th October of a treasured mother, grandmother and great grandmother and the beloved wife of the late John. Fortified with the last rights of the Church she now rests in peace. Family and friends please meet for her reception into Holy Family Catholic Church, Ostley Bank, Barrow on Wednesday 1st November at 4.30pm, followed by a Requiem Mass on Thursday 2nd November at 11am. All are welcome. Donations if so desired may be left after the service or c/o the Little and Caine obituaries page for CAFOD Emergency Israeli Palestinian Crisis appeal. A lady I have known all my life, who was the dearest, kindest, most helpful person you could meet. My sincere condolences to all the children, and extended family, she will be greatly missed, especially by me, I have so many lovely memories of time spent with her, love to all.
