ASHLEIGH Eve It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of Eve on the 9th August 2023, after many years of struggling with sight loss issues, blindness and more recently mobility issues and then the sad and difficult struggle with dementia. When she finally left this world to be reunited with her beloved late first husband George Duck and her precious late son Russell. Leaving behind her brother Peter Meredith, daughter Sandra and granddaughter Clare Shaw and the rest of her extended family and not forgetting her two precious cats, she will be sadly missed by all of us. Eve was cared for by St Georges Care Home, Millom in the last few months of her life, to whom we would like to express our deep thanks and gratitude. We are also so grateful for all their kindness and care and for treating Eve with the utmost dignity and respect. Anyone wishing to attend Eve's funeral on the 5th September 2023 at 2pm at St Michael's and All Angels Church, Bootle, you are most welcome. No flowers please, but donations are kindly accepted for the charities of R.N.I.B, Alzheimer's Society and Bootle church, please place them in a clearly marked envelope with the name of charity and given to the funeral director N B Southward, Mill Gate, Broad Oak, Ravenglass, CA18 1RS tel: 01229717258
