THEXTON, Alec Frederick Aged 90 of Oxford Street, Barrow passed away suddenly at home on the 31st of July with his loving family by his side. Dearly loved and loving husband of Gladys, dear dad of Kieron and Christopher (Chris), father-in-law of Dawn, treasured grandad of Ethan and Joseph, brother-in-law and good friend to many. A service to celebrate Alec's life will be held at Thorncliffe Crematorium, Barrow on Tuesday 15th August at 12:15pm. No flowers by request and donations if so desired to help fund a defibrillator for the local community in Barrow may be left at the service or via the Little and Caine website. He was a lovely man,one of the best neighbours anyone could wish for. Happy times were shared with all the neighbours attending many an “Oxford street bash” which he and his family arranged so brilliantly.
