FITZPATRICK Raymond Ray (Dad, Grandad & Great Grandad) Passed away peacefully at Elmhurst Residential Care Home in Ulverston, with his devoted, loving family by his side on 28th June 2023. Much loved and adored husband of the late Sheila. An amazing treasured & loving Dad to his children, Paul, Diane, Martin, Alison, Shirley, Jill & June. Adored Tatty Head & Tat Tat Grandad to all his grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Our very special Dad of 92 years, will be sorely missed but never forgotten. A special thanks also to our extended family at Elmhurst who cared for our Dad with such dedication and empathy. Elmhurst became Dad's home in the last few years, through the pandemic when visiting was not possible, all staff at Elmhurst were just brilliant, you all took care to a different level, and we as a family thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Dad always was the joker, and in his last day with Elmhurst as he departed his residence for the very last time, Dad set off the fire alarms. Our family now have an extended family with Elmhurst and we as a family would like to give an extended special thanks to the Manager, Karen, Kath, Nicola (Granddaughter) & Barbara and the whole team at Elmhurst for their devotion and exemplary care. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Please arrange to meet at St Columbus Church, Walney Island at 1.00pm on Friday 14th July, prior to private family burial at Thorncliffe Crematorium, Barrow at 2.00pm.
