ACOTT Peter On 9th June, Peter, aged 93, passed away peacefully at home at Hartley Ground, Broughton Mills, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of the late June, loving father of Stephen, Rosemary, Jacqueline, Deborah, Brian & Elizabeth, respected father-in -law, treasured grandfather of 17, great-grandfather of 21 and great-great grandfather of 1. A highly regarded colleague and good friend to many. The funeral service will be held on Monday 3rd July at 11.00 at Holy Innocents Church, Broughton Mills, followed by refreshments at the reading room before a private cremation. Dress code: colourful is good, black is optional. Family flowers only; donations in lieu towards Broughton First Responders may be sent to Sheldon (Funeral Services) Ltd, Lapstone Road, Millom.
