BLOOMER John Derek Aged 82 years of Severn Road, Walney, passed away peacefully at home with family on 15th May, 2023. A much devoted and loving husband to Doreen. A very special brother to Duncan, Pat, Elsie and Jackie. Caring brother-in-law to Roz, John, Terry and Kenny. Proud and cherished father to Carol, Donna, Angela and Stephen, father-in-law to Geoff and close family member Dawn. Dearly loved granddad to Daniel, Scott, Andrew, Chloe, Michael, Kate, Sophie, Samantha, Georgia, their wives and partners, a treasured great-grandfather, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and a warm and loyal friend to many. To be received into St Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Barrow on Tuesday 23rd May at 4pm and Requiem Mass on Wednesday 24th May at 10:30am followed by burial at Barrow Cemetery. All flowers welcome and donations for St Mary's Church may be left at the service or via the Little and Caine website.
