ROBINSON Peter "Robbo" Robinson Peter (Pete) suddenly on April 13th in Medland Hospital, Lusaka, Zambia, at the age of 85. Dearly beloved husband of Valerie, father to Brad and Naomi, and grandfather to Taylor and Torrens. Fondly remembered by first wife Jill, brother Allan (Patricia), and sister Margaret (Frank). Formerly of Greengate St., Barrow, Pete moved to Zambia in 1968 to pursue a career in Mining Engineering, set up his own company in 1972, and never retired. He led a full and active life, including chairing his local Rugby Club and the Zambian Fishing Society, and leaves a worldwide network of family and friends. A celebration of Pete's life is planned at his 'local', The Moth Club in Kitwe, on Friday, April 21st, 2023.
