SHAW Alan Morgan 27th March 1924 - 19th March 2023. It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Alan (Pop) Shaw who passed away peacefully at Bethshan Care Home, Whitehaven, Cumbria, UK, just a few days away from his 99th birthday. He leaves to grieve his beloved companion, Ruth Thompson, his daughter, Margaret, his son, Kenneth (Barbara) and their families. Alan was predeceased in 1988 by his loving wife, Ethel. Heartfelt thanks to West Cumberland Hospital and all the staff at Bethshan Care Home, Whitehaven, Cumbria. Alan's funeral will take place at St. Mary & St. Michael's Church, Church St, Egremont, Cumbria Monday 3rd April at 1:00 pm. Family flowers only please. Friends, please meet at the Church.
