MACADIE Ian Peter (Rampside Ian, Big Mac) 28.10.1952 16.03.2023 Proprietor of Rampside Golf Links. Ian died suddenly at Preston Royal Hospital, after a short illness, bravely fought, optimistic of a recovery. Dearly beloved husband of Christine, treasured dad and best mate of Nathan and Amy, Shannon and Zak, adored grandpa (Tata) of Dylan, Eve, Bobby, Harry and baby George Ian. Devoted brother of Caroline and the late Martin, cherished son of the late Mary and Mac Macadie. Loving brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle (uncle E) and friend to so many. Ian will be much missed. At peace now. Please meet for a service at Thorncliffe Crematorium, Barrow LA14 5PD 10am on Friday 31st March. Feel free to wear a 'pop' of colour. Family flowers only but donations in lieu to Roose Primary School and Parkside Academy, Greengate Street for books and equipment may be left after the service or c/o Little and Caine obituaries page.
