PORTEOUS Doug Passed away at home in his sleep on 15th March 2023, aged 72 years. Beloved husband of Lynne. Very much loved dad of James and Laura. Adored grandad of Jude and Ferne. He will be missed by many. Friends please meet for a service at Thorncliffe Crematorium on Monday 27th March at 1.00pm. Family flowers only please, donations if so desired for St Mary's Hospice can be sent via the Little and Caine website. Any enquiries to Little and Caine, 1-3 Dalkeith Street, Barrow. So sorry to hear Doug no longer with us. I was a year below him at the Tech.
I used to see him occasionally on Lakes Parade, obviously struggling but always a kind word entwined in humour. RIP 😞
