BALMER Iain David Aged 75 of Abbey Road, Barrow passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on the 11th of March. Adored husband of Margaret, devoted father of Allison and David and father-in-law of Paul and Philippa. Treasured grandad of Oliver, Alex, Benjamin, Daniel and Sophie, loving cousin of Diane, a much loved brother-in-law and a good friend to many. A service to celebrate Iain's life will be held at St Mary's RC Church, Duke Street, Barrow on Monday 20th March at 11:00am followed by burial. All flowers are welcome and donations if so desired for Prostate Cancer UK, Macmillan Cancer Support and Furness General Hospital Oncology Unit may be left at the service or via the Little and Caine website.
