LYON Sid Aged 72 of Furness Park Road, Barrow. Passed away suddenly whilst on holiday in Thailand on 27th January. Lifelong partner of the late Anne Hool. A Proud, devoted Dad and best mate to Dave, loving Step father to Iain and Martin, Lisa and Caron. Grandad to Izzy and Maisie. Much loved Brother and uncle, and a wonderful friend to so many. A service to celebrate Sid's life will be held at Thorncliffe crematorium on Thursday 9th March 11:30am If you have a bike, please come on it! Family flowers only, donations in lieu to The Rob Vine fund (Isle Of Man TT medical support) may be left at the service or sent to the co-op Funeralcare, Barrow. Tel: 01229 820517

You have left a void so big in a lot of peoples lives Sid, I think you would have been shocked at how well thought of you are, the condolences to your family are still rolling in. One of a kind, a wicked sense of humour even though it was not always apparent if you were joking or not!!! A true gent, you are missed already, Caron x
