CAIRNS Joyce Peacefully on 25th February, aged 78 years, after a long illness fought with great dignity. Beloved wife of the late Jimmy, precious mum of Stephen, dear sister, aunty, cousin and special friend to many. Funeral service to take place at St. Mary's Church, Dalton on Monday 13th March at 11:15 a.m. followed by interment at Barrow Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if so desired to be shared between St. Mary's Hospice and St. Mary's Church, Dalton. All enquiries to Co-op Funeralcare, Barrow, tel 820517.

Thank you Joyce for filling my life with such happiness and laughter. I wish we could have met and I wish I had found you sooner but I will never forget you and will be forever grateful for how much you enriched my life. You were the bravest, most remarkable lady, with the kindest, most generous heart. I smiled so much more with you in my life and I will always miss you. Be at peace now.
