COCKIN Joan Aged 88 years, died peacefully at home on the 23rd February, with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Derek, loving mother of Philip, Geraldine, Elizabeth, Joanne and Louisa, dear mother-in-law to Lynn, Jimmy, Ian, Sarabjeet and Dave. Much loved nanny and great-nanny to many. A dear sister-in-law, aunty and good friend, who will be very sadly missed (RIP). Friends please meet for a requiem mass on Monday 13th March, 1pm at St Columba's Church, Walney, prior to crematorium at Thorncliffe Crematorium. Family flowers only please or donations if so desired to be shared between the RNIB and Barrow Food Bank may be left at the service or sent via the Little and Caine website. I count myself honoured to have known Mrs Cocken. One of the nicest people I have ever met. Very generous in word and deed. My deepest condolences to all her family and friends. She will be very greatly missed.
