ATKINSON (nee Whitaker), Diane Elizabeth 16th February, Aged 59. Suddenly, after a long period of poor health. Mercifully she passed away while peacefully asleep, in the company of friends in Ulverston. A private cremation will follow, with local charities benefitting from her legacy. Donations if desired, to St Mary's Hospice Ulverston would be particularly appropriate, given Diane's support of them in life.
