TAYLOR John Ronald 'Ron' Aged 92 years. On Friday 20th January at Abbotsfield Care home. Much loved husband of almost 69 years to Dorothy. Father to Alan & Alison. Father-in-Law to Michelle & David. Grandfather to Kimberley & Marc & great grandfather to Grace, Ebony, Gabby, Macie, Saul & Mollie. Son of John & Annie, older brother to Doreen. Very proud Fireman, 22 years service. Funeral Service at St Paul's, 10.45 Monday 6th February, followed by short service, family only, at Thorncliffe Crematorium at 11.30. Reception at Barrow Golf Club at 12.00. ALL WELCOME. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to The British Heart Foundation can be left after the service or sent via the Little and Caine website. My Dad and Ron were great friends ( James O’Neill) worked together in Barrow fire service. Sending my condolences to all Ron’s family, rest in peace Sir ❤️

Sorry to hear of the passing of Ron, my dad James Oneill was a close friend of Ron throughout their time in the fire service. He came to my Dads funeral and was very upset. Their friendship went back mmm any years. My condolences to all Ron's family. Lots of love from Gillian Baynes ( nee Oneill)
