ELLIS Val Aged 98 passed away peacefully at Risedale Nursing Home on 6th January. Beloved wife of the late Alan, loving mum of Peter and John, grand mother of Shona and Ewan, great-grandmother of Luna and Joshua, mother-in-law to Jan and a good friend to many. A service to celebrate Val's life will be held at St Mary and St Michael's Church, Urswick on Wednesday 18th January at 11:00am prior to burial. Family flowers only and donations for The Risedale Nursing Home amenities fund may be left at the service or via the Little and Caine website.
