HOLMES Fred On Christmas Eve, peacefully in Millom hospital with his family by his side, Fred aged 99 years. Much loved husband of the late Joyce, treasured dad of Sue (Rowe) and the late Shirley, father-in-law of Patricia, devited grandad of Tammy, Kelly and Steven and a proud great-grandad of Kieran, Tyler, Hadley, Layton, Cerys, Cobey and Darcy and a dear uncle. A special friend to Jack Simpson, Mervin, Ernie and Bettie. Dancing partner of Little Miss Georgia. The funeral service will be held at 2.00pm on Friday 6th January 2023 at Holy Trinity Church, Millom, followed by burial within the churchyard. Flowers, or donations towards The Injured Jockeys Fund, may be sent to Sheldon (Funeral Services) Ltd, Lapstone Road, Millom. Tel 772295.
