HACKETT Joseph William On 21st November, suddenly in the home he loved, aged 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Elisabeth, treasured dad of Joe and Julie, a dearly loved father-in-law and devoted grandad and great-grandad. A good friend and neighbour to many who will be sadly missed by all. Family and friends to please meet at Thorncliffe Crematorium on Friday 16th December at 12.15pm. Family flowers only please, donations if so desired to Alzheimer's Society. Enquiries to Co-op Funeralcare, Barrow, tel: 820517.

Sad to know of Joe Hacket's demise. A loving husband of the late Elizabeth Hacket. RIP. I had the privilege of persuading Elisabeth's mother to move from Manchester and my late brother, George, arranged for her mother, Betty, to move into the house in Hartington St., which she inherited .
