WRIGHT Amy (nee Berry) Aged 98 years formerly of Lyndale Avenue Barrow, died on 2nd October, in the loving arms of Amanda and the staff at St. Lukes Balmoral Unit at Risedale. Beloved wife of the late Frank. Precious mum to Amanda and the late Rosy and their partners Andrew and the late Michael. Dearly loved nana to her treasured grandchildren, Leoncia, Michael, Francesca, Anastasia and a loving nananana to her 8 great-grandchildren in whom she took great delight. A very much appreciated and loved auntie and friend, Amy was a force of nature, an inspiration to many and her laughter could be heard from afar. She will be very sadly missed by all her family, her friends and the staff at Balmoral Unit. Family and friends please meet on Tuesday 18th October at 11.30am, at the Trevelyan Chapel, Barrow. Doors open at 11.15am. Family flowers only please and instead there will be a collection to be divided between the Salvation Army (Amy loved a good Brass Band) and the Alzheimer's Society who are in need of funding to research this cruel disease.
