WRIGLEY Dorothy (Dot) (formerly Hambler) Passed away peacefully in Risedale at Lonsdale on Friday 22nd July, aged 84. Dearly loved wife of the late Kenneth and Anton. Treasured mum to John and Sue. A much loved mother-in-law to Ian. A special sister and auntie. A respected lecturer at Howard Street College of Further Education and a friend to many. Please meet for a service on Monday 8th August, 12.15pm at Thorncliffe Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in mum's memory can be left after the service for North West Air Ambulance and St Mary's Hospice. All enquiries to Little and Caine, 1-3 Dalkeith Street, Barrow. Just seen online so sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing. I cleaned for her at her home few years ago. A formidable woman! But with a heart of gold. Very good baker and crafter and stalwart of Saint James' church. Very independent and intelligent. Condolences to family. Claire Brooks of Hawcoat.
