BOYD Neil Aged 55, passed away peacefully surrounded by his devoted family on Thursday 9th June. Much loved husband of Susan, loving and proud dad to Matthew and Adam. Treasured son to Jimmy and Sheila, a dear brother to Gav. Special person to his extended family and friends, a respected colleague at BAE Systems and a Barrow Golf Club stalwart, current President of his beloved club. Funeral service to take place on Friday 24th June, 1.45pm at Thorncliffe Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations if desired may be left after the service or C/O Little and Caine obituaries page to be split between Crohn's and Colitis UK and the local Palliative Nurses (Cheques made payable to Furness Cancer Nursing Fund). Only just heard this very sad news here in Australia. I liked Neil the very first time I met him. He was a genuine, friendly, loyal and immensely personable friend and I was shaken to my core to hear of his very premature passing. My thoughts are with Sue and the two boys, his relatives and all of his many friends. Rest easy Biffa.
