METCALFE Ian Aged 82 years of Lorne Road, Barrow on Saturday 4th June peacefully after enduring dementia with courage and dignity. Beloved husband of the late Marian, devoted dad to Tony, Ian and Andrea, father-in-law to Amanda and David. Adored by his grandchildren Leanne, Jordan, Luke, Caitlin and Lucy. Much loved brother to Carr, Hilya and Violet also to the late Alfie, Raymond, Elsie and Eileen. A dear uncle and brother-in-law. A good friend to many who will be sadly missed. Friends please meet for a service at the Trevelyan Chapel, Dalkeith Street on Wednesday 15th June at 1pm. Casual wear at the service please. Family flowers only please.
