PENNINGTON Ian William On 26th May at FGH, after a short illness bore with grit, courage and determination. Adoring and much-loved husband to Pauline; devoted papa to Gary and Vicky; proud grandad to Lauren, Angel Alice, Rhys and Milly; great-grandad to Rowan and father-in-law to Jackie. Thank you for the love and care given by all on Ward 9. A private cremation will be held. Donations in memory of Ian would be appreciated to his late granddaughter's charity, Alice's Escapes.

Ian worked for me down on the berths & he was a really great guy. excellent Foreman & passionate about his work.

A sad loss to this world , he will be sorely miised by all who knew him !

Darling Daddy, I will miss you so much - I just can’t believe you’re gone. I’ll miss our little wanders (and your crap navigation skills), our DIY sessions (me pretending to take it all in) and I’ll miss our drinking sessions (if we both have another, Mum won’t tell us off)!
