THISTLETHWAITE Gordon Marcus (retired Ulverston dentist) Aged 79, suddenly on 19th May. Most beloved husband of Louise for 28 years. Dearly loved son of the late Bill and Yvonne Thistlethwaite. Treasured and loving father of Donna, Gregory and Max, and father-in-law of Adeline and Billy. A proud and adored grandfather of Tom, Emily, Mei and An Ni. Dear brother of Lani and a much-loved uncle, brother-in-law and friend. Funeral service to be held at St Mary's Parish Church, Church Walk, Ulverston at 2.30pm on Monday 6th June followed by interment at Ulverston Cemetery. Was so very sad to read of Gordon's passing. I worked with him when I first left school in 1976. Thanks to the training and knowledge he gave me it led to a successful career in various aspects of dentistry until my recent retirement. A true gentleman with a wicked sense of humour, I know he will be sadly missed. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Cheers Thissy!

So sad to hear the passing of Mr T - he knew my deep fear of dentists & he was the most gentle dentist. Thank you Mr T for all you did for me. True gentleman, kind, good sense of humour & wonderful stories of life. Rest in Peace Mr T. Classical music will always have a special reminder of you. Sincere sympathies & deepest condolences to Mr T's family Jan & Dave Waldron
