JONES Aidan Suddenly on Tuesday 5th April 2022, aged 71 years, Aidan Charles Jenkin Jones, of Penddol, Dewi Road, Tregaron, Ceredigion. Formerly of Walney, Barrow-in-Furness and former Chief Archivist at Barrow Archives. Dearly loved husband of the late Janet Elizabeth (nee Davies). Public funeral at St Caron's Church, Tregaron, SY25 6JA on Wednesday 27th April at 2.00 p.m., followed by interment. Voluntary donations towards St Caron's Church funds may be sent to Gwilym C. Price Son and Daughters, Funeral Directors, 1-2 College Street, Lampeter, Ceredigion, SA48 7DY, Tel. 01570 422673.

Heartfelt Condolences to your family Aidan. Sad to hear after your devoted years to Barrow library helping people like me to search for their families. You found my grandfather in the archives which lead me to find my fathers family going back to 1812. Your knowledge of Barrow was invaluable. RIP Mr Aidan Jones
