FARAGHER Val (Née Newsham) Aged 64 of Walney, passed away suddenly after a long and bravely fought illness on Wednesday 16th March. Best friend and devoted wife of the late Dave, cherished mam of Heather and Matthew, treasured step-mam of Andrew, loving mother-in-law of Stephen and Jenny, dear sister of Pat, Bren and Margaret, much loved stepnanna, sister-in-law, cousin, friend to many and much adored nanna of Sophie. Friends please meet for a service on Thursday 31st March at 11.30am at Thorncliffe Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu for St Mary's Hospice can be left at the service or sent c/o Little & Caine, 1-3 Dalkeith Street, Barrow. Tel: 820747.
