HORNBY John Edward Isaac Passed away peacefully on 15th February 2022 aged 75 years. Beloved husband of the late Dianne, much loved dad of Paul, David and Neil, father-in-law of Rachael, Kate and Catherine, treasured grandad of Jessica, Emily, Annabel, Olivia and Florence, loving brother of Jacqueline and Chris, dear uncle of Charlotte. Friends please meet for a service at St Mary's Church Dalton on Thursday 3rd March at 11.15am prior to private cremation. No flowers by request. Donations if so desired for St Mary's Hospice may be sent via the Little & Caine website. All enquiries to Little & Caine, 48 Ulverston Road, Dalton. Tel: 01229 462564

Our heartfelt condolences to the whole Hornby family. I have many happy memories of John & Dianne from our teenage and then young married lives. Dianne was my best friend at school and she was my bridesmaid when we got married almost 50 years ago, then 3 months later I was her bridesmaid when her and John were married - very happy days.
