MCDOUGALL Joan (nee Fazakerley) Aged 67 years. Passed away peacefully at home on Friday 11th February with her family by her bedside, after a long illness bourne with courage and dignity. Beloved wife of Stuart, devoted mother of Sarah and Rachel, stepmother to Joanne and a mother figure to Mark and James. Proud nanny to Jack, Iris, Rose, Violet and Flynn. Sister to Margaret and Wilf. Cherished sister-in-law, aunt and cousin and a friend to many. Friends please meet at Thorncliffe Crematorium Barrow at 11.30am on Thursday 24th February, for a service to celebrate Joan's life. Black clothing not necessary. Family flowers only. Donations can be made in lieu for FGH Oncology Unit if desired via Little and Caine www.littleandcaine.co.uk or by telephone 01229 462564.
