Dr MAGUIRE James (Jim) After a long illness, Jim, aged 79, died peacefully at home on 2nd January. A much loved husband, father, grandfather and brother. A private funeral was held at Saint Thomas of Canterbury RC church, Longhorsley, Northumberland.

A wonderful gp and kind, caring man who looked after me and my family. It's a shame we won't ever see the likes of him again but feeling blessed to have had him in our lives. Thinking of his family at this sad time xx

RIP Jim, what a wonderful Doctor, they really don't make GP's like him anymore. Dalton was blessed to have him- and he stayed with us.
