HOWARTH Elizabeth Aged 89 passed away peacefully after a very short illness at home, Holker, Cark-in-Cartmel, with daughters Sarah McCormack and Caroline Howarth at her side. A passionate walker and gardener, volunteer at Ford Park, Ulverston, well travelled, well read, dearly loved mother and grandmother and cousin and good friend to many. An artist and lover of nature who is greatly missed. Service of thanks Cartmel Priory Wednesday 17th November 11.30am. Grange Fell Cemetery 12.30pm. Flowers and donations may be sent via the Little & Caine website. Donations to Ford Park Ulverston and Alton Maasai (education charity for women and girls in Kenya).
