SLEE Barbara (nee Watson) Passed away peacefully on 22nd September 2021 at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary, Wigan aged 71 years. Originally from Seatle, later of Canny Hill and recently of Aspull. Barbara was the dearly loved wife of Malcolm for 49 years, devoted mother of Michael and Paul, grandmother of Charlotte, William, Stephen and Rowan, sister of Steve, mother-in-law of Allison and Sarie. Barbara will be sorely missed by all of her family, friends and the many who knew her. In life she enjoyed much happiness yet also battled through considerable pain and suffering but now is at peace. Sincere family thanks to the NHS for the care over the years by the many hundreds who have helped support her. The funeral service will be held at St Peters Church, Field Broughton, LA11 6HR on Wednesday 6th October at 2pm, followed by committal at Beetham Hall Crematorium, LA7 7BQ at 3.30pm. Family flowers only please, donations if desired are for British Heart Foundation which may be left at the service.
