STEWART Alexander (Alex, formerly of the White House Stores) Passed away peacefully on the 24th August 2021, aged 89 years with his family by his side. Devoted husband of the late Edna, loving father to Christine and David, father-in-law to Dave and Anne, affectionate grandad to Calum, Frazer and Owen, and a dear friend to many. Friends, please meet for a funeral service at Thorncliffe Crematorium Chapel on Friday 10th September 2021 at 11:30am. The opportunity to view the service online can also be arranged by contacting a member of the family. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to Ward 6 at Furness General Hospital (Bay Hospital Charities) where staff cared for Alex with kindness and compassion.
