SHAW Norman Lt.Cdr RN (retired) I am very sorry to announce that Norman passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospice on the 17th July. He had a very full and interesting life and was much loved. He spent 30 years in the Royal Navy, worked as a Project Manager in BAE Systems followed by twelve years as a County Councillor for Roosecote Ward in Barrow. He leaves a wife, Lynda, their two children Ben and Nick, three older children Michael, Diane and Peter, and a brother and sister. He was a true gentleman and will be sadly missed. Funeral service to take place at Thorncliffe Crematorium on Monday 2nd August at 1pm. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to St Mary's Hospice and the RNLI Barrow Lifeboat Station via normanshaw.muchloved.com All enquiries to Co-op Funeralcare. Tel: 01229 820517.
