WILKINSON, Alan - Sue Rowe and Alan's family would like to thank all relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues for their kind messages of sympathy and condolences, cards and donations received following their very sad loss. Special thanks to the family Doctors Craig, Fola and Walker, Mr Fyfe and staff of the Oncology Unit at Furness General Hospital, the district nurses especially Sally and Olivia, Jane Steele of the Macmillan Nurses for the dedicated care and attention given to Alan during his illness. Also to Rachel of the Millom physios, Jeanette, Pat and Les for visits, and to Kelly, John, Tammy, Carolyn, Shirley, Patricia and Christine for their unfailing support throughout a most difficult time. Thanks also to Reverend Clive Shaw for his comforting words at the service. Also Alan's colleagues at the Civil Nuclear Constabulary, the bearers Gus, Paul, Euan, Trevor and Ian, Superintendent Graham Shaw, Chief Inspector Heather Green for their organisation and to Mick Durose for his lovely tribute. Grateful thanks to Richard and staff of Sheldon (Funeral Services) Ltd. For their care with the arrangements, Millom Rugby Union Football Club and Harvest Bakery, and everyone who attended, giving support and making the funeral such a wonderful tribute for Alan, of which he would have been extremely proud.
