BOCIAN, Jadwiga - The family of the late Jadwiga Bocian wish to express their profound gratitude to Dr Macheta and the staff of the Oncology Unit at Furness General Hospital, and for the wonderful care by Dr P Walters and the staff of Millom Hospital during her illness, and also for their consideration to the family members. The family also wish to thank Father Robert Halshaw for his unfailing kindness and spiritual comfort, and to Father Mark Houston for his assistance. The family is also grateful to Our Lady and St James' community, the Knights of St. Columba, friends, neighbours and co-workers for their warm support. Next door neighbours Marlies and Ferdinand Blank gave unstinting friendship and support for decades to Jadwiga and George, for which the family is also grateful. The family gathering, together with her great nephew Fintan's musical composition contributed greatly to the celebration of Jadwiga's life. Grateful thanks also go to Richard Sheldon and staff of Sheldon (Funeral Services) Ltd for all their careful arrangements and assistance.
